From The NY Times: This café opened last March with a nod to Fishtown’s working-class roots. Its specialties include Port Richmond pierogies, named for a nearby Polish neighborhood, and bacon-wrapped meatloaf.

From Craig Laban in the Philadelphia Inquirer: There is also the Hot Potato Cafe on Girard, where I ate a pretty decent crab cake a couple months ago.

From Oldies 98.1 WOGL's Website: Hot Potato Café, located in the heart of Fishtown, just six minutes from Center City, the Hot Potato Cafe offers up a variety of local favorites in a relaxed and casual atmosphere. Sisters Claire, Erin and Kathryn Keller opened the doors of the Hot Potato Cafe in March 2007, turning a former state store into a cozy BYOB.
