Dear Philly1.com Members,

Happy Independence Day! It's definitely going to be cooler than it's been but watch out for scattered thunderstorms. As usual, Philadelphia becomes a a huge tourist destination this weekend, so, we're going to give tribute to some of these great "tourist" events in this week's listings, but, also try to give you some off-the-beaten-track options to enjoy without having to give someone directions to the Liberty Bell, or, explain why neither Pat's nor Geno's are the best cheese steaks in town, etc. The best things to do of course is to hang out with friends and family, BBQ and drink some really refreshing and delicious craft brews from throughout the region.

Before we get started please take a look at this weekend's holiday forecast brought to us courtesy of Weather.com.
